Draught 55 - Client Event

The client had requested a digital invitation for their annual client party. Each year they select a different venue and the invitation is used to generate excitement for this event. 
The invitation design and all communications that follow are branding in the style of the venue.

This year, the event is held at Draught 55. They are New York based brewery with a very rustic feel. This heavily inspired the concept of the invitation which takes after the traditional messaging of old-school bars by using chalk.​​​​​​​
I split the details of the event into 4 main categories which are as follows: 

Each of the 4 sections are segmented by invisible blocks with all the information relating to each sitting within their bounds. Directing the reader downwards leading into the RSVP (being the call to action) using inwards angled rectangles to guide the readers eye.

The styling uses a number ribbons and rectangular shapes to create differences in the text whilst still staying true to the chalkboard aesthetic. A variety of fonts were also used as during the research phase, typical chalkboard messaging includes a variety which each invokes a different feeling when reading the information.

The client was very happy with the outcome and garnered a lot of interest from clients with the invitation. I was told that many clients used the invitation design as a talking point during the event.
